1. Overview

3. What we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

  • Account. Email address, name, password hash (we do not store your password in plain text), a hashed one-time email verification code when you register with a password, and, if you use Google sign-in, the name, email, and profile image Google sends us.
  • Audio and job data. Mixes, stems, file names, stem labels, gain and EQ choices, loudness and true-peak measurements, status of the job, and the preview and master files we generate.
  • Credits and purchases. Credit balance, hold/capture/release state, pack type, amount, currency, and processor references. We do not keep full card or UPI numbers.
  • Reviews. Star rating, optional note, and the display name you give (or a short name from your account).
  • Device and logs. IP address, browser, and approximate country from the network. We may log job errors to operate the Service.

4. How we use it

  • create and keep your account, and keep you signed in;
  • send transactional email: a welcome note with your free credits, a verification code when you register with email, and notices about the Service;
  • upload, mix, master, preview, and let you download files;
  • hold, capture, or return credits, and show prices in Indian rupees;
  • show eligible reviews on the public homepage;
  • secure the Service, prevent abuse, and debug failed jobs;
  • improve the processing chain using technical measurements (for example loudness and spectrum). We do not license your songs to other artists;
  • comply with law, including tax and accounting where payments occur.

5. Legal bases

Where GDPR or similar rules apply, we rely on: performing the contract (account, processing, credits); legitimate interests (security, engine improvement from measurements, showing reviews you submitted); consent (optional Google sign-in, cookies that are not strictly necessary); and legal obligation. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, we process personal data for the purposes above, with your consent where required, and to provide the Service you asked for.

6. Sharing

We share information only as needed:

  • infrastructure providers (database, object storage, compute, email);
  • Google, if you choose Google sign-in;
  • payment processors, when you buy credits, under their privacy terms;
  • professional advisers, or a buyer, if we reorganize or sell the business;
  • authorities when the law requires it, or to protect people or the Service.

Processors act on our instructions. We do not sell personal information as that term is used in the CCPA/CPRA. We do not share audio publicly unless you put a review on the site (reviews are text and a name, not the track).

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage to run the site:

  • Session. Keeps you signed in on this device. Sessions last up to 14 days unless you sign out sooner.
  • Preferences. Theme and related settings may be stored in your browser (localStorage), not as cookies.

Session cookies are needed for login. Blocking them may stop sign-in. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy.

8. Retention

Account data stays while the account is open. Credit and purchase records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it. Mixes, previews, and masters are stored in private object storage so you can work in your library. They are not published on the website. You can delete a session from your library; we then remove the associated files from storage, subject to short-lived backups. Signed download links expire within minutes. Keep your own copies of anything you may release. We may delete files for inactive jobs or closed accounts after a limited time.

9. International transfers

We may process information in India and in other countries where our providers operate, including the United States. Those laws can differ from the laws where you live. We still apply this policy, and we use providers we believe are appropriate for the Service.

10. Security

We use access controls, private object storage, and signed URLs for downloads. No transmission or storage on the internet is perfectly secure. You use the Service at your own risk. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, withdraw consent, restrict or object to certain processing, or receive a copy of data you provided. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. In India you may write to us as the grievance contact. We aim to respond within 15 days.

You can start deletion from Account in the app. We email a confirmation link to the address on the account; the login, library files, and unused credits are removed when you open that link and confirm. To make another request, email support@mastermytrack.app from the address on your account. We may need to verify it is you. Some records we must keep by law.

12. Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

13. Reviews

If you rate a master, we store the rating, optional quote, and display name. Quotes from ratings of 4 or 5 may appear on the public homepage. Lower ratings stay internal. Do not put other people’s personal data in a review.

14. Changes

We may update this policy when the product or the law changes. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be posted here. Continued use after an update means you accept the new policy.
